Voici une invitation à participer à la programmation du Camp d'Action Climatique 2010. L'évènement aura lieu du 7 au 23 août 2009, à Dunham (une heure au sud de Montréal) en opposition au projet de pipeline "Trailbreaker" qui vise à transporter via le Québec le pétrole brut issu des sables bitumineux de l'Alberta. Joignez-vous à nous pour préparer un monde meilleur !

QUI?

Le Camp d'Action Climatique du Québec s'inscrit en solidarité avec le mouvement international pour la justice sociale et climatique. C'est un espace autonome de diffusion des pratiques alternatives, d'informations et de stratégies pour réaliser le changement social. L'initiative vise à rassembler les citoyen(ne)s afin de mettre de l'avant les solutions à la crise environnementale et passer à l'action pour combattre les causes des changemement climatiques.

QUOI?

Nous recherchons des ateliers et des activité, axés sur les thèmes généraux de l'écologie et du changement social. Le campement est une initiative autonome non-hiérarchique, aussi souhaitons nous encourager la tenue d'ateliers participatifs et le partage de connaissances.Pas besoin d'être un expert pour donner un atelier ou animer une activité, qu'elle soit théorique et/ou pratique.

You're invited!

This is an invitation to join with allies and friends at the Quebec Climate Action Camp, August 7-23 2010, and the 18-22 Convergence Days, being organized to directly confront the Trailbreaker pipeline project, which if completed will bring dirty oil from the Alberta Tar Sands to Montreal. Get involved in steering the programming that will be offered to participants by proposing workshops, trainings and skill-shares.

What is it?

The Quebec Climate Action Camp is organized in solidarity with the international social and climate justice movements. The camp aims to create an autonomous space for learning and implementing alternative practices, knowledge and strategies for the realization of social change. We are coming together to create a people's gathering to present and implement people's solutions to combat the root causes of climate change.

Want to get involved?

We are looking for workshops, trainings, speakers and other activities that related to the general themes of environmental and social justice towards creating dynamic social changes. The camp is a non-hierarchical, horizontal initiative, with space open for all sorts of engaging, interactive workshops. You don't need to be an expert to give a workshop or facilitate an activity!
